You Wrote It, We Post It. Don’t Like It, Don’t Post It! Get it?

Screen shot 2013-11-12 at 9.37.06 PM

This was received yesterday from an A’ole GMO commenter, Samuel Shaw.  Remember that these commentaries were posted by your fellow A’oles all over the social media.  Those same folks who made these statements are the ones demanding laws to be made.  The A’oles just despise this page! But you A’oles provided the material for it!  It was created by your own nasty social media posts!  People have been capturing and broadcasting your statements all over the place in order to back up our claim that there is no aloha from the activists.  And it’s not about dividing the community, it’s about exposing the very comments that ARE dividing the community.  Let the Mayor work with the state and federal government to deal with the issue as he should uphold the laws that he took an oath of office for.  Just because there are no arrests doesn’t make it right to even make such threats to begin with.  That is his job to follow through on his oath, not throw it aside like Hooser and Bynum are doing.

If you don’t like reading what you see here, stop posting that kind of stuff to begin with.  Should anyone really be listening to activists who do this?  If you don’t like what you’re reading on here, then stop being the source of it.

Samuel Shaw did want me to also post this.  So much aloha that they can’t figure out what it really is anymore.  Personal attacks against people are all they can resort to and organizations that allow this kind of stuff to happen are also kind of sad.  Rudeness and disrespect rule here in Hawaii and if you speak up against it or even expose it, you get attacked for doing so.  Let’s not forget that this guy was giving discounts for tattoos to people who showed that they signed the petition against Chuck.  What does that say?

Get it? Likely not.  Please go up and read the title again, that may help.  Be accountable for what you say, no matter where you are.

Christi A’ole GMO aka Kauai A’ole GMO

It’s no secret who is responsible for this collection of tweets received today:

Screen shot 2013-11-12 at 4.41.52 PMScreen shot 2013-11-12 at 4.43.21 PM Screen shot 2013-11-12 at 4.42.35 PMScreen shot 2013-11-12 at 4.42.13 PM  Screen shot 2013-11-12 at 4.43.34 PM

Christi might have changed her Twitter handle but it’s not hard to not know who she is and what she has to say.  Can’t forget this comment of hers:

demuth 4-2

Just another GMO Free club member showing us what she thinks is aloha towards farmers or anyone who speaks up for biotech.  Gary Hooser, what do you have to say about your lovely followers?

Helen Lovell Says Biotech Farmers Have No Aloha

Just when you thought things would quiet down a bit here in Hawaii, it never fails that the no aloha folks are bursting at the seams to spew their comments again.  Meet Helen Lovell, who apparently is a nurse:

Screen shot 2013-11-12 at 3.36.47 PM

She believes that papaya farmers deserve no aloha for using biotech to grow their crops. But how exactly does one grow “nasty garbage?”

Screen shot 2013-11-12 at 3.39.24 PM

She apparently thinks that there is no aloha when people speak up against these activists, and that anyone who does is a troublemaker.  Of course, they only want their voices heard and not anyone else’s.

Screen shot 2013-11-12 at 3.39.40 PM

You also know that Vandana Shiva has recently been to the islands when they borrow her terminology of “raping the land.”

Screen shot 2013-11-12 at 3.39.54 PM

Then she goes on to say that threats made against the Mayor were made by my little corn friend, Frank n Foode…(seriously?).  I can’t quite figure out why I would need to threaten the Mayor but she has something in her mind that there is a reason for it.  They still can’t figure out that they themselves are looking bad because of the nature of their commentaries.

Screen shot 2013-11-12 at 3.40.07 PM

Last but not least, Helen has to throw in an insult.  No surprise at all for that is the Kauai A’ole way.

Screen shot 2013-11-12 at 3.40.35 PM

As much as these folks love to talk about them being pono and having lots of aloha, it is clear that they have no clue about it already.  Same goes for their leader, Gary Hooser and his antics.  Monkey see, monkey do.

The Representatives of the GMO Free Club of Kauai

Funny how the news stories explicitly stated that the threats to the mayor were not representative of the anti-GMO movement.  Then another supporter said that they are 0.01% of the activists and that there is no engaging with these folks.  Really Aria Juliet? Interesting because you’ll find all of these people in the GMO Free Kauai group.

Aria

These misguided people seem the be the very ones that Hooser and Bynum are associating with.  The writing is on the wall.  Do you actually think that the public is oblivious to this?

Gary Hooser Rigs Polls the Pono Way

It is such a crock that Gary Hooser claims to be for doing what is right.  He never did acknowledge that there was a lot of intimidation and hostility by the A’oles ever.  And now he wants to win polls the right way by cheating on it and teaching others how to cheat too:

garyhooser cheats poll

To him, it is about winning no matter the method and at what cost.  It’s no wonder that his followers think and act the same way.  So here is the poll as of 8:40 HST noting that all the A’ole GMO groups have jumped on it.

Screen shot 2013-11-02 at 8.36.02 PM

That’s an honest politician indeed who did not allow for the release of the attorney general’s review of the law.  Instead he kept people in the dark about it and when the Mayor made his veto, it was clear that the law had no standing based on current regulations.  If Hooser and Bynum knew this already, why did they not withdraw the bill and save us all the drama that followed?  Wouldn’t a true leader have done the right thing?  Apparently in this case, there is no right and wrong, it’s all about winning while dividing communities.

Well, we know he’s like Dr. Seralini and the lumpy rat study.  They skew the data, give partial information, all as a means to create hysteria to gain supporters.  That apparently is the pono way to do things on Kauai for a “leader” like Hooser.  That is not how we local people do things Mr. Hooser!

Hooser and Bynum’s Land of No Aloha Activists!

So it has been big news that the anti-GMO Bill 2491 was vetoed by Mayor Carvalho just a few days ago.  Did you ever think that it would be peaceful, calm, and quiet?

Meet the activists of Kauai and see how they treat their leaders.

It is not a surprise that the same activists who disrespect farmers, graffiti roadways, threaten to destroy crops and equipment, and put nasty commentaries all over the social media have shown their true colors once again for all to see.  They can’t see that there are flaws in the bill that would cause significant headaches for the county to deal with based on existing statutes already in place.  One of them being the Hawaii Right to Farm Act.

Just read the commentary coming out from the Babes Against Biotech leader, Nomi Carmona.

Then go to her Babes Against Biotech page and you’ll find many more lovely comments about the Mayor’s decision to veto the flawed law.

Let’s call the Mayor lovely names by James Kealii Kam.

Then another one from Michael Huskey criticizing the Mayor.

Then there is Jason Kalani who promotes the use of violence and threats to get their way.

Don’t forget what Ricky Murray has to say about the Mayor.

Here’s more lovingly written comments on the Hawaii News Now post about the veto by Kristin Steinkamp and Bigkine.

Then there is Rey Kamakani and his lovely quote to the mayor:

And let’s also not forget some new comments about GMO that came out right after the veto on the Hawaii GMO Justice Coalition page.

Here’s a very nice person named Donna French who has a clear message to send to biotech supporters:

donna french

Then there is another person named Patric Coan who has a lot to say about his plans for biotech crops:

patrick coan

Then there is also the GMO reaper on Kauai:

geoff morris1

And yet another one from Kurtis Kunesh.

kurtiskunesh

We can’t forget that the very person who insisted on passing this law (his initials are G.H.) did not even consider preexisting statutes that would jeopardize it.  Didn’t he and the other County Council members take an oath of office, same as Mayor Carvalho?

“I solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully support the Constitution and laws of the United States of America, the Constitution and laws of the State of Hawaii and the Charter and laws of the County of Kauai, and conscientiously and impartially discharge my duties as ________ of the County of Kauai.”

He continues to refuse to acknowledge that this hate is being spewed by the very activists he supports.  Its like it doesn’t exist in his eyes.  He just continually incites the A’oles with the same information not even bothering to actually state the facts to them about the existing statutes and legal issues.  Could this be a way of keeping people in the dark, just like the tactics of Babes Against Biotech and Hawaii GMO Justice Coalition?

garyhooser

His son unfortunately is no different in that he didn’t even bother to read the attorney general’s opinion on the law or even consider the fact that it was flawed to begin with.  Which politician is adhering to their oath of office to uphold the laws of the state, federal, and county?  It’s the mayor.  But these folks are now ticked off and don’t care how they express it.

mbdhooser

Many activists feel that it is their “right” to act the way they want because they are unhappy. But do they indeed have the evidence and data to support what they are saying?  No, never, and all that is evident are hateful comments like these, with no basis in truth or fact.  These are indeed the faces of the anti-GMO movement here in Kauai but many news articles state otherwise that they do not represent the movement.  Are you kidding?

Look in the mirror and see if you’d like others to remember you that way, captured on the social media forever.  Is there room for yelling, threats of riots and violence in law making? Of course, I’d probably get a comment here saying once again that there is no aloha on my point of view.  Really?  Everything is justified and it doesn’t matter how its done?  Remember, that if you are posting threats, say rotten stuff, calling that there is no aloha, stop posting and doing stuff that is reflective of that.  Then there would be nothing to write about on this blog.  It is hopeful, but not likely at this point.
